Hello! It has been a minute since I have written a blog post! For all of you who don’t know, Bronson and I have relocated from Spokane, WA to Carlsbad, CA. This was such a hard decision for us to make, and with many prayers, tears and questions we made the final decision to move.
Bronson left his job at Sacred Heart. That was an incredibly hard decision for him to make. He absolutely loved his job, his partners, his schedule and the wide range of procedures that he was able to do. He became an incredibly skilled anesthesiologist and we will always be grateful for the opportunity that he was given.
Once of the main reasons we held back on leaving much sooner was because of my dental practice. I absolutely loved my patients and my team. Over the last 6 months, I created the perfect team that matched my vision for the practice, culture of the practice and goals for the practice. I was beginning to get incredibly attached to the patients and was getting to know them really well. The biggest challenge for me to leave Spokane was my dental patients. I knew that if I stayed any longer, it would only make things harder.
Emotionally, I was just not fit to be in Spokane. From the people, culture, weather it just was not the right area for me. I had an extremely hard time transitioning to Spokane and at the end of the day when I would leave the practice the depression and anxiety would kick in about where we were living. It never felt right when we were there. The decision was very tough and we made it as a family and although its had its challenges, each night we count our blessings that we did what was best for our mental health.
