This week has been such a whirlwind! Our baby boy Halden turned 1 years old! Such a memorable year with our precious. We are officially a family of toddlers!
Halden has been such a dream baby. He loves cuddling with mama, especially in the early mornings before I leave for work. We are officially done breastfeeding — that was a stressful decision to make but Halden kept biting and no matter what tips/tricks I tried, he wouldn’t stop so we had to make the decision this week that we were done. He’s been transitioning to the bottle full time really well. We introduced whole milk and a lot more solids, so the night wakings are frequent because I don’t think he’s getting enough calories but we are working on that.
I have enjoyed every minute of this whole year with him. God knew that we needed him with everything else going on in our lives. Inaara turned 3 years old! Her speech has come such a long way since having her cochlear implants activated, she has officially started preschool at the School of HOPE, she loves her teacher Ms. Sara and chats with us all day long about how her bus is coming in the morning to pick her up!
This weekend we are having a joint birthday party for both kids so all the grandparents are coming into town! We are so excited to see everyone.
