This month, my husband Bronson and I are celebrating 10 years of being together. What a whirlwind! What’s interesting about our relationship is all the changes that we’ve gone through. Acceptance into medical and dental school; an international move from Canada to California; graduating medical and dental school; marriage; purchasing three homes, a puppy, having 2 children and last but not least moving from California to Spokane. You would think that after all of that, we would finally be settled and just get to work. But, NOPE — I have now decided to take our life in a new direction and purchase a dental practice.
Going through a global pandemic all while surviving postpartum depression and having a daughter who nearly died of bacterial meningitis did not discourage Bronson from continuing this life with me. We are so thrilled to have lived this beautiful life together and are so excited to continue this journey with one another. We had a beautiful snowfall on our 10 year anniversary — something we haven’t experienced since our first anniversary. The challenges bring so many blessings and although we tend to dwell on the challenges, I am extremely hopeful for what this year has to bring and all the major life changes we will experience our 10th year together.
